“I have been working with Julia for a few months and I've found her help to be invaluable in reducing my general anxiety and stress. She's helped me understand the causes of my stress and I've learned ways to bring myself down, thanks to her help. As our meetings have gone on, I've actually noticed that my stress in general is less than it used to be. Especially as we're going through this pandemic, that's saying a lot! I couldn't ask for a better therapist. I think the work we're doing will help me for a long time to come. ”

WE DO NOT TAKE INSURANCE. We are out-of-network with all insurance carriers. Please book only if you plan to pay the full session fee of $250 out-of-pocket or if you've confirmed that you have out-of-network coverage. If you're unsure, please contact us, and we can check your out-of-network benefits for you. Please note: We'll call you within 24 business hours of booking to schedule a required free consultation call with your provider before being seen.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session is an opportunity to meet your therapist face-to-face and engage in a comprehensive assessment, covering your personal history, goals, and expectations for therapy. This meeting helps both you and your therapist understand your unique experiences and develop a plan tailored to your needs. If, for any reason, either of you feels the match is not the right fit, we can provide personalized referrals based on the information you have shared to help you find a better match. In the early sessions of therapy, we work with you to establish a clear focus and direction for our work. Every client’s journey is unique, so our approach is to meet you exactly where you are. These initial sessions are key for building rapport and trust, creating a foundation for open communication and collaboration. This time allows us to explore your needs, set meaningful goals, and ensure you feel supported as we begin this journey together. The intention of ongoing sessions is to explore deeply held beliefs about yourself, others, and the world, while challenging and replacing unhelpful thought patterns. Through this process, you can cultivate more constructive beliefs, behaviors, and perspectives, promoting personal growth aligned with your well-being.

Very knowledgable and skilled therapist. I feel heard and respected. I think Julia's style perfectly balances kindness with practicality. I feel cared for but not coddled. Sessions with Julia are always helpful. I've suffered with depression for a long time and I have finally found hope with Julia's help and care.
Julia is an amazing therapist. She is very kind, warm, and helpful. Although she's an excellent listener, she does much more than that. Julia has helped me see my thinking errors and how my actions impact situations and relationships. I've been much better able to handle my problems since starting therapy with Julia. Highly recommended!
    Great therapist!
I really enjoy my visits with Julia. I always feel like my issues are being heard, and she always has a great strategy for how to resolve them. She is very kind and patient. I know I'm not always the easiest to work with, but I always leave my sessions feeling like I accomplished something.
Julia is an excellent therapist! She has been very helpful in helping me deal with my anxiety and depression. She does a great job of getting me to see my irrational thinking and pushing through it. Julia is very professional and personable, making me feel very at ease during my appointments. Setting up appointments is really easy, and I've never had to wait for an appointment. Overall would highly recommend working with her!
I am a small business owner which can be very stressful and had been keeping my up during the night. After a few sessions with Julia I noticed both my sleep and stress level were greatly improved. Through our work together Julia helped me realize that more was in my control then I had previously thought. She armed me with mental tools that I feel confident using everyday when approached with work and life stressors. Julia made me feel comfortable and understood while simultaneously giving my gentle pushes to be my best self. Can not sing her praises enough! Thank you Julia
