I hold a Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and have a background working in the criminal justice system with people experiencing a variety of mental health diagnoses and trauma histories. I also have specialized training and a passion for working with individuals on both ends of intimate partner violence. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I'll empower you to build practical skills and strategies to manage your emotions, enhance your relationships, and build resilience. Together, we'll dive deep into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, uncovering patterns and identifying areas for growth. I also have a playful side and love working with children and adolescents. I incorporate both play therapy and art therapy into my practice by building on clients' interests and strengths. I take a collaborative team approach when working with parents so both you and your child feel supported.
