Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all, so sessions are always tailored to your specific needs, goals, and pace.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients should know that you do not need to have everything figure out before starting therapy with me. You do not need to have the "right" words, or a clear goal or path, we will figure that out together. I meet clients where they are and believe that therapy works best when it is collaborative, honest and human. My style is warm and supportive. I focus on creating a safe space while gently challenging patterns that may no longer be serving you. I truly believe that you are the expert on your own life and my role is to walk alongside of you as you work towards feelings more confident and grounded.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first sessions, you can expect the focus to be about getting to know you, your story, your concerns and what you are hoping to get out of your time here. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable while especially spending time building trust and safety. From there, we will work together to identify goals and tailor sessions by using approaches that best fit you. This can include exploring thought patterns, coping and emotional regulation skills, processing past experiences, or focusing on strengths you already have and bringing them to the surface.
