As a social worker, I use a strengths-based perspective to help clients identify their potential to heal and thrive. Whether you are dealing with a temporary situation you would like assistance with, or you are ready to explore unresolved issues, I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment. Entering into a therapeutic relationship with the right provider is a brave, bold step in the direction of wellness and personal peace. I use empathy, breath work, mindfulness, and present moment awareness to guide clients on their journey. By using the Strengths Based Perspective, I help clients empower themselves by connecting and building positive thoughts that serve them. This doesn't mean we are ignoring reality - there are many painful experiences in life - but we can invite a perspective that includes strength and resilience throughout the process.
My professional interests include working with survivors of sexual assault, people struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, adjustment to illness, as well as grief and anticipatory grief.
