Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS). As a therapist, Julie brings warmth and empathy to her work with children, teens, adults, and neurodiverse populations. She began her career as a crisis worker in children’s and teen crisis centers, providing support during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Julie has experience in infant adoption, adolescent behavioral health, and family reunification, helping clients navigate relationships, divorce, grief, and loss. She was trained at the Grief Recovery Center and draws on this background to support clients in their healing. Her work with addiction and dual diagnosis has been both challenging and rewarding, and she is passionate about helping clients find peace and move forward. In her current practice, Julie helps clients use their core values to navigate life challenges, neurodiversity, and relationships. She incorporates EMDR (trained), CBT, CPT, and play therapy, and is committed to ongoing learning to better serve her clients. Outside of work, Julie enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and engaging in arts and crafts.
