“Nancy (Juntang) was very easy to talk to and receptive to my thoughts, while at the same time not afraid to challenge or ask questions that prompted me to reflect and truly understand how and why I felt a certain way. She was very receptive to my emotions, and made sure to allow me to express before asking any questions (if anything the questions were much needed, ones that I don’t ask myself). I felt a lot better after speaking to her!”

Getting to know Juntang Qian

You might be navigating questions about identity, belonging, or how to hold multiple parts of yourself across cultures, roles, and expectations. Many of the clients I work with, immigrant mothers, young adults, and multicultural individuals, carry the weight of these experiences while managing anxiety, relationships, and the pressure to hold it all together. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative. We are creating a space where you are free and empowered to define who you are and who you want to become. Together, we’ll explore identity, process emotions, and find your voice in relationships, family dynamics, and life transitions. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in journalism, telling stories of marginalized communities. I was drawn to therapy because I wanted to go beyond telling stories—to truly support people in shaping their life. As an East Asian woman who grew up between Shanghai and Toronto, I bring both personal and professional understanding to conversations around culture, identity, and belonging.
