What should a new client know about working with you?

I incorporate elements of evidence-based protocols, including CBT, somatic based strategies (including mindfulness), solution-focused, trauma-focused, and interpersonal techniques. By working together, we will embark on a journey of healing and transformation, helping you build a more fulfilling and balanced life. Mindfulness-Based Therapy: I utilize mindfulness techniques to help you grow your awareness of the present moment and reduce the physiological and cognitive effects of stress. Through increasing one’s awareness of the here and now, we can work together to reduce distress and improve one’s quality of life. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is a foundational element of my practice. Through this evidence-based approach, we’ll identify and challenge maladaptive patterns of thought and behavior that interfere with your happiness and well-being. You will learn practical tools to improve depression, manage anxiety, and cope with daily life stressors. Solution-Focused Therapy: I believe a solution-focused approach should build upon each individual’s strengths and resources and emphasize realistic solutions to overcome life’s obstacles. We will work together to set well-defined and achievable goals and collaborate on creating an action plan you can utilize to accomplish your goals. Trauma Therapy: Providing compassionate, safe, non-judgemental, and effective trauma-focused therapy has been a passion of mine throughout my career. I am trained in utilizing the tri-phasic model of trauma therapy and would be honored to accompany you on the pathway toward healing and recovery.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When you choose to work with me, you can expect a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic experience tailored to your unique needs. I would be honored to offer you my holistic approach to navigating your life’s complexities.
