Katherine Wisehart, LPC

Psychotherapist
MO
Hello, I am Kathy. I've had the privilege of working in the social service field for more than 25 years and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2012. I currently provide telehealth counseling throughout Missouri and also work within a local medical clinic offering mental health therapy and assessments. My experience has allowed me to work with people from all walks of life, and I truly enjoy helping individuals navigate life changes, manage stress, and build healthier relationships. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where you can explore your strengths, develop new skills, and create meaningful change at your own pace. In addition to my private practice, I also work within an institutional setting to prevent sexual violence by supporting individuals who have committed sexual harm. This work has deepened my understanding of accountability, resilience, and the capacity people have for growth and change. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take the next steps toward healing.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
