Katie Collins, LPC

Psychotherapist
11 High St, Ste 206, Suffield, CT
Through the world of therapy, I hope to bring more education and support to pregnant and postpartum mothers, fathers, and birthing people. My style of counseling is positive, person-centered, and solution-focused. I believe that the most important part of perinatal mental health is prevention; entering into therapy prior to or during pregnancy is the most effective way to process birth and postpartum. I provide a safe and soothing environment for all of my clients to work through their identified needs. Using techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy along with workbooks, I offer hands-on activities to support your healing journey. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Bay Path University, which has equipped me with the skills to guide and empower clients through this important phase of life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
