I'm Kelsie, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 6 years of experience in the mental health field. I have treated a wide range of struggles with children, teens, and adults. I have experience in treating substance use disorders, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges in children. However, my specialization is trauma. What happened to you is not your fault, and healing from your traumatic experiences does not require you to relive every painful detail. I work with people of all ages carrying the weight of traumatic and/or overwhelming experiences that have changed how you see yourself and the world around you. My approach is person-centered, gentle, and paced to only what you can handle. We work at your pace. I use therapy techniques such as EMDR and TFCBT for children.
