I would describe myself as someone who enjoys collaborating with clients to help them reach their goals and guide them in overcoming barriers that stand in their way. I currently work as a social worker at the VA, meeting with veterans who are trying to maintain housing while managing mental health and substance abuse issues. Throughout my career as a social worker, I have worked with at-risk youth, inmates, individuals struggling with substance abuse, and the homeless population. I have come to realize that many people share one common desire: to be treated with respect and to have their autonomy honored. My strong listening and problem-solving skills help clients find solutions to their own problems. What many of my clients can expect from me is someone who asks open-ended questions to encourage them to consider perspectives they might not have before and to challenge the gap between their thoughts or desires and their actions in life.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
