“I used to think being ‘hard on myself’ was a good thing until it started completely burning me out. Kiera has helped me realize that I don’t have to be perfect to be successful (which, honestly, is still a work in progress). Her mix of CBT and exploring my past has been a game-changer—I’m learning to separate my worth from my productivity and actually be kinder to myself. Therapy isn’t always easy, but working with her has made a huge difference in how I handle stress.”

“I didn’t realize how much my anxiety was running my life until I started therapy. I was constantly exhausted, overthinking every little thing, and saying no to plans—even things I used to love—going out with friends, traveling— because I just felt too overwhelmed to add something else to my plate. Work stress, social anxiety, the pressure to have everything figured out… it all felt like too much. Kiera helped me understand why I was stuck in this cycle and gave me real, practical ways to work through it. Now, I’m actually making plans and enjoying them, instead of bailing last minute or spending the whole time in my head. Therapy has helped me feel like me again. ”

I used to think being ‘hard on myself’ was a good thing until it started completely burning me out. I didn’t realize how much my anxiety was running my life until I started therapy.
I came to therapy feeling completely stuck—constantly overcommitting at work, saying yes to every happy hour or work event even when I was exhausted and stressed, and then beating myself up for not having a balance between work and my own personal life. I felt like I was never doing ‘enough,’ no matter how much I accomplished. Kiera helped me see how my perfectionism (and concerning lack of boundaries) was draining me and gave me actual tools to push back on the unrealistic expectations I was setting for myself. Now, I’m learning to say no without feeling guilty (although, it was a process), leave work at work, and actually enjoy my downtime instead of obsessing over what I should be doing. Therapy with them has been a game-changer!
I always struggled with self-esteem, but I didn’t realize how much it was affecting my career and relationships until I started working with Kiera. She helped me see the patterns I was stuck in—constantly overthinking, never feeling ‘good enough’—and gave me tools to shift my mindset. I love that she’s direct, but also super compassionate. I actually feel like I’m making real changes, not just talking in circles. If you deal with perfectionism or imposter syndrome, I highly recommend!
I started seeing Kiera for what felt like insurmountable levels of anxiety and some feelings of depression, and her approach has been really helpful. She creates space where I feel comfortable talking about my struggles, which hasn’t always been the case in the past. We addressed my anxiety one problem, one session at a time— and the coping strategies she’s provided have been practical and applicable in many different ways. I still use them to this day, and I now feel like I have the confidence to address my symptoms of anxiety versus avoid/push them away.
Kiera is an exceptional therapist! She creates such a warm and grounding space while also offering the tools and education I need to work through my challenges. We started with some concepts related to CBT- which helped me initially get a handle on my symptoms— feel like I was doing something to help myself and reframe negative thought patterns, and eventually began utilizing EMDR— has been SO instrumental in working through/ healing past trauma (some that I didn’t even realize was still lingering). I appreciate how they balance deep insight with practical strategies that I can apply to my daily life. If you're looking for someone who is both compassionate and highly skilled, look no further!
Kiera is kind, patient, and deeply insightful, but what sets her apart is her ability to provide real, actionable tools. Work related to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT work has helped me understand how my negative thought patterns have actually made a lot of my difficulties worse, and I now realize I have more power than I originally thought I had over my thoughts and depressed moods. If you're looking for a therapist who is compassionate yet results-driven, I highly recommend her!
