Sometimes, our deepest feelings are the hardest to put into words, especially when we're caught between roles, expectations, languages, or cultures. These "in-between" feelings often resurface during major life transitions, such as fertility, pregnancy, or becoming a parent. Such seasons can leave us anxious, depleted, disconnected, and longing to feel at home in ourselves. I offer an affirming space for those facing burnout, trauma, exclusion, or the search for where they belong. Together, we'll make sense of your story, untangle what feels complicated, and deepen your self-understanding and self-compassion. Informed by my experience as a first-generation Vietnamese immigrant, I help clients weave together the many parts of who they are, honoring where they come from and who they are becoming. My approach is relational, culturally attuned, and trauma-informed, grounded in psychodynamic and narrative therapy, and somatic and mindfulness practices. My hope is that in this space with me, you'll feel genuinely seen and understood, perhaps in ways you haven’t experienced before. You can expect warmth, honesty, and a consistent presence, without needing to explain or translate yourself. Whatever has brought you here, you're welcome. I'd love to hear from you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is integrative, curious, warm, and relational. We'll look at how your past shapes the present, revisit the stories you carry about yourself, and tune into what your body holds, drawing on psychodynamic and narrative therapy, as well as somatic and mindfulness practices. Our relationship becomes a safe place to try new ways of being. I also speak Vietnamese and welcome clients who want to use it in session.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins with a conversation, a chance to see if we feel like a good fit. In our early sessions, I'll listen closely to your story, including the parts that may feel lost in translation, and together we'll name what you hope for. From there, we move at your pace. Some days we'll slow down and untangle what feels uneasy; other days we'll make room for curiosity, humor, creativity, and even play. Along the way, we'll check in about what's helping and what feels stuck. And when you're ready, you can begin to retell your story on your own terms.
