UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I view mental health as a dynamic state of well-being where individuals can realize their potential, cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively, and contribute to their communities. Mental health is not merely the absence of mental illness but involves a holistic balance of emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Everyone has the potential for growth and self-improvement, and mental health is a continuous journey rather than a fixed destination. With a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, I bring a strong foundation to this work. I believe that the therapeutic process is a collaborative journey between the therapist and the client, rooted in empathy, respect, and mutual understanding.
