Psychotherapist
4801 Frankford Rd, Ste 300, Dallas, TX
I work with a broad range of clients, which may not seem connected, but inevitably it is. I enjoy working with kids, teens, young adults, moms, and couples. What I incorporate into my sessions is authenticity, humor, and a pragmatic approach. I often say, "Let's throw spaghetti at the wall and see what works." I love working with those who are actively involved in the therapy process. It's a collaboration between myself and the client. I draw from several modalities, so the approach is tailored to each client. I enjoy working with couples, divorce/separation, neurodivergent people, PDA (in children), and failure to launch. I see clients of various ages and demographics, beginning at age 3. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression or have a history of trauma that goes back into your childhood, I am here to help. I work with children and adolescents, neurodivergence, divorce/separation, parenting, and maternal mental health. I have special training in EMDR, Autplay, TBRI, and PACT. I believe that we all want to be the best version of ourselves and there is always room to grow. We all go through experiences that challenge us, but we don't have to let them define us. As Mr. Rogers said, "Knowing that we can be loved exactly as we are gives us all the best opportunity for growing into the healthiest of people." Christian counseling is available upon request and can be incorporated into counseling at the client's comfort level. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Brewton-Parker College, a Master's in Professional Counseling from Amberton University, and a Master's in Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Free 10-minute consultations are available by request.
