UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. My main therapy focus is cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which helps people understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how all three work together and influence each other. While we don't have control over much in our environment, we can take control of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors instead of letting them control us. I am also CBT certified for treating insomnia. I hold a PhD in Educational Psychology from Walden University and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, which have equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively. Sometimes life can be challenging and even difficult, and having some help and guidance can mean the difference between struggling and conquering. Life has hurdles, and sometimes we need a boost to get over them. I am here to give you that boost!
