Getting to know Kristen Fox

We all long to reach a place of consistently feeling seen, heard, and understood. I want to help you work toward reaching this place within yourself, your work, and your relationships. There are many things that get in our way while striving to reach this place: feeling overwhelmed by work, grief, loss, past traumas, anxiety about the uncertainty of the future, or uncertainty about what to do next. Sometimes we just feel stuck. I am here to work through all of that with you. Couples— Perhaps you feel disconnected, withdrawn, or misunderstood by your partner. Maybe you long to feel stronger intimacy, improve communication, or explore ways to feel more fulfilled within your relationship. We will develop ways to address any and all of these things. I draw from relational/psychodynamic and skills-based approaches and have completed postgraduate trainings for couples and EMDR. Whether individual or couple, I want to help you utilize your strengths, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and cultivate skills to feel grounded and empowered. Finding the right fit to reach your goals can be tricky. I welcome your call to see if I may be the right fit for you. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York, New Paltz. I am an out-of-network provider. I charge per session and offer a sliding scale. Many insurance companies pay for a percentage of out-of-network services. I encourage you to contact your insurer to find out the benefits of your plan. **Please note individual sessions are 45 minutes, and couples sessions are 60 minutes.**
