Getting to know Kristen Stramka
Life stressors can have a significant impact on emotional well-being. At times, you may feel hopeless and defeated. Therapy is a good first step in regaining control of your life. My goal is to help you navigate this road to optimal life satisfaction. I am empathetic and work collaboratively with my clients to reach their therapeutic goals. I utilize a person-centered approach based on each client's individual needs, in conjunction with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, as well as other evidence-based practices. I look forward to meeting you!
Kristen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York and holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Touro University. She is also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor-Master Level (CASAC-M). She has experience working with adults in various settings with diagnoses including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, panic disorder, personality disorders, and bipolar disorder.
