What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I understand that taking the first step toward seeking support is not always easy. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is built upon a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, collaboration, and mutual understanding. I strive to meet each client where they are in their journey, recognizing that every individual brings unique experiences, strengths, and challenges to the therapeutic process. I take a personalized and client-centered approach, tailoring treatment to align with each person's specific needs, goals, and values. Using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, I work collaboratively with clients to explore the thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns that may be contributing to their current difficulties. Together, we will develop greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and build practical strategies that support meaningful growth, resilience, and lasting positive change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session, my primary focus is on getting to know you, understanding the concerns that have brought you to therapy, and identifying the goals you would like to work toward. I believe that each person's experiences and needs are unique, so I take the time to gain a comprehensive understanding of your background, current challenges, strengths, and areas where you would like to see growth and change. As therapy progresses, we will work collaboratively to explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be impacting your overall well-being. Together, we will identify patterns that may be contributing to your difficulties and develop greater insight into how these patterns influence your daily life. Throughout the therapeutic process, we will build on your existing strengths while developing healthy coping skills and practical strategies that can be applied to real-life situations. My goal is to empower you with the tools, support, and confidence needed to navigate challenges, foster personal growth, and create meaningful, lasting change.
