UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I believe that when treating clients, it is incredibly important to build a relationship that promotes transparency and trust in order to encourage change. Through a strong relationship, it is possible to have a greater impact on shifting the way clients think. By changing the way we think, we can transform our minds to alter how we see ourselves and the situations we are in. Utilizing coping skills beyond the ordinary and maintaining an open mind to change something about ourselves or our circumstances can lead to meaningful growth. It is possible to achieve a better quality of life when you are committed to changing something about yourself or your situation. I hold a Master's in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree from Salisbury University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support clients through this transformative process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First we would get to know each other by completing an intake. Thereafter, we would explore the goals that you have for therapy by building a relationship where you can help guide me to what you need the most from therapy. Next, we will work intentionally on your goals and find what works best for you and your circumstance. Then, once your therapeutic goals are accomplished we can end the therapeutic relationship because you are confident in your ability to apply the strategies we have found that work for you in your every day life. I look forward to meeting with you to work to help you!
