"Hi everyone, I’m Laricka! I find joy in meeting my clients where they are in their life, with their emotions, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe that therapy is a marathon and not a race, in which it is ok to be patient with your process and the goals you are trying to meet. Therapy is a safe place in which you can express how you are feeling and gain a better understanding of self, and learn to cope with different things. I enjoy assisting clients with managing/decreasing symtpoms of anxiety and depression. I also assist clients with navigating through trauma, boosting self esteem, coping through their daily lives, and problem solving as we can't solve problems if we are not aware of what the problem is. I am not only a talk therapist, as I also believe in providing my clients with exercises, as I believe you begin to see progress once you do the work outside of therapy. I believe in continuing education and putting forth the effort to learn different therapy modalities and ways to better help my clients, so my skills won’t stop with the things I listed, as I fully believe in continuing to educate myself on multiple things.
