Lauren is a Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC) and is also certified in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling (CADC). Education: I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Illinois University in Psychology and Sociology and earned my Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University. I have extensive knowledge and tools to help individuals and couples navigate various life issues. I create a safe atmosphere for clients and develop individualized treatment plans that help clients maintain healthy functioning. I have strong interpersonal skills and a sound understanding of therapeutic approaches. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from counseling and having someone to discuss their problems with in an open and accepting environment. My goal is to positively impact every individual, couple, and family I work with while aiding them in overcoming their personal obstacles. Experience: I have worked in outpatient settings with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
