Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who practices collaborative treatment with adults. Lauren graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and earned a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, with honors, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to her work in private practice settings, Lauren also has experience working in community-based mental health and non-profit settings, where she has facilitated school-based counseling groups and led various workshop topics. Lauren also provides clinical supervision for post-graduate clinicians.
Lauren specializes in working with complex trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship distress, family issues, and difficult life transitions, and does so through a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, inclusive lens. She offers compassionate feedback, fosters depth-focused exploration, helps with becoming “unstuck,” and empowers clients in their journey toward healing, self-acceptance, and skill development. Lauren knows that an authentic and safe connection is a crucial foundation to therapeutic work and shows up for her clients with humility, humanity, and warmth.

I supervise a close-knit team of pre-licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians at Ignite Counseling with immediate availability. I will work to connect you with a member of our team who can best support your therapeutic needs.

I found Lauren when I was going through a really difficult time in college and finally realized I needed to seek help. Lauren is compassionate, invested, and just so real, which makes it easier to connect with her and talk about the things I am really struggling with. I was nervous when I was first thinking about seeing a therapist, but Lauren made the process so easy and welcoming. I started seeing Lauren during a very difficult time in my life and have always felt such support, understanding, and genuine care from her. She is committed to my growth, helps hold me accountable to my goals, offers such a warm and nonjudgmental space to talk, and has a great sense of humor too. I've gained much deeper insight and self-awareness since I started working with Lauren, and she finds a way to not only work through challenges but to also recognize my successes. I'm so glad to have met her!
