Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You may have been thinking about it for a while, wondering if your struggles are "serious enough," or telling yourself you'll figure things out on your own. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the same patterns, or simply tired of carrying so much by themselves. As a person-centered, insight-oriented therapist, my mission is to create a space where you can exhale a little. A place where you don't have to have the right words, a clear plan, or everything neatly figured out. We can be curious about what's going on, make sense of it together, and find a path forward that feels true to you. If that sounds like the kind of support you're looking for, I'd be glad to connect. I work with young adults and adults who are ready to go deeper — not just manage what's on the surface, but understand what's underneath it to get to the root of your discomfort. My focus areas are relationships, identity, and self-worth, along with quarter- and mid-life identity development and transitions. Our time together goes beyond symptom relief. We'll explore the immediate concerns bringing you to therapy and the underlying patterns that may be shaping your experiences, helping you move toward greater self-awareness, confidence, and fulfillment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist began with a fascination for the complexity of human experiences, and a genuine desire to understand what helps people heal, grow, and feel more connected to themselves. Through my own work and experiences, I've come to appreciate how much courage it takes to be vulnerable and ask for support. That understanding, combined with my passion for helping others, deepened my commitment to offering a space that is safe, unhurried, and free of judgment, somewhere you can explore your inner world at your own pace. In my practice now, I bring empathy, humor, and genuine curiosity about each person's story to every session as we navigate those worlds together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

No matter what you’re experiencing, my goal is to help you feel understood while gently challenging the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Working with me feels less like sitting across from a clinician and more like having a thoughtful conversation with someone who is genuinely invested in your growth. At all times, my approach is warm, relaxed, and collaborative. I bring humor and a nonjudgmental presence to our work, and care deeply about creating a space where you can be yourself without fear of criticism or shame. Utilizing therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and integrative psychotherapy, I help you uncover the patterns that no longer serve you and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.
