Sometimes we experience life events that cause us significant distress, sadness, or anger. Other times, our life is not going in the direction we wish, but we don't know why or what to do. Still other times, our hectic lives leave us unable to nurture our relationships and families the way we want to. I can help you create stronger relationships with your loved ones, strengthen your self-esteem, and remove barriers to achieve your personal goals. Beginning Anew, LLC believes the cornerstone of therapeutic success is feeling understood and accepted. We can help you cope with distressing life events, find healthier and more satisfying approaches to life's challenges, and ultimately pave a better path to happiness. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I earned my Master of Social Work from Columbia University in the City of New York and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University. I have a diverse background working in employee assistance, university hospital mental health, discharge planning, psychiatric inpatient care, substance abuse treatment, and private practice. I approach my work with a strength-based cognitive behavioral perspective. I am a longtime member of the National Association of Social Workers.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
