Leanne is warm, caring, and extremely professional. She makes herself very available, and operating her own practice you feel a much more human approach than larger clinics. She always balances listening when I need it along with offering her perspective to help nudge me. Highly recommend!

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I have recently opened a few additional appointment times and continue to offer teletherapy only.
I am an eclectic therapist, drawing from multiple evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing—to create a personalized, client-centered experience. Throughout the therapeutic process, I encourage self-compassion, healthy vulnerability, and shame resilience.
I work with adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, self-esteem issues, and work or academic stressors.
Please Note:
Sessions are by appointment only. If you cannot attend your session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid cancellation fees.
This policy ensures other clients can take advantage of available appointment times.
For New Clients:
I currently accept BCBS PPO and Aetna PPO.
All clients are welcome to pay out-of-pocket and request a superbill to submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement.
I highly encourage all clients to contact their insurance provider to confirm any out-of-pocket costs (e.g., deductible or co-pay) and verify whether their plan reimburses teletherapy.

Really tense and unwelcoming office environment. She shares it with a real estate agency and has no waiting room. You sit in a chair in the hallway while the radio static blares, in an attempt to drown out the confidential conversations going on in her office. She was nice, but the environment is really unpleasant. I was in a bit of a crisis and had to wait ten minutes past the start of my appointment for her to come out. I had no way of signing in or letting her know I was there. I just sort of sat while loud, aggressive, business conversations were going on all around me. She was pretty nice but I didn't feel particularly relieved or even like I was on the right track after I left her office. I shared a lot and it seemed like she was entertained and mildly empathetic but I wanted some guidance and she seemed sort of unfocused. I will find someone else.

I saw Leanne for a few months over a year ago having lots of history with CBT and DBT. I liked her a lot but wasn’t ready yet or sure what I wanted out of therapy at that time. I came back in August ready to do work, and that is what Leanne does. I am not an assignment person and have struggled with more disciplined therapists and programs in the past, but Leanne is firm in an understanding, non combative way that doesn’t prompt anxiety. She is not sterile or removed but is very professional and appropriate. She gives extremely doable, thought based “homework” that keeps my therapeutic goals present between sessions without being overwhelming.

I did not know what to expect for my first session with a counselor, but Leanne is down to earth and easy to talk to. I immediately felt at ease. You can tell she is truly interested in the well-being of her patients - not just wanting to help them maintain, but get past what is holding them back from living life to the fullest. I left feeling like I am on track for setting goals and with homework to start tackling the root of my anxiety.

Leanne has been a huge help with my anxiety and depression. I've been seeing her for almost a year now and I have seen such a dramatic difference in my overall mood. She is blunt and gives it to you straight when you need it, soft and more subtle when you're not ready to face your issues yet and is always open and ready to listen.
There have been times that I was dreading the appointments because I was fearful of judgement but she has never been judgmental towards me whatsoever and I always leave feeling refreshed.
Take her homework seriously. Make sure you take advantage of her 20 min trail and she's a good fit for you, you won't be sorry.

I went to Leanne because I don't feel comfortable talking to my psychiatrist. I immediately felt comfortable talking to her. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders after leaving my first appointment. I felt like she really listened, asked questions, and wanted to help me set goals as well as get to know me.
