The provider is a Supervisee in Clinical Social Work. Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” My father worked hard all his life and instilled that work ethic in me. During my career in the military, that work ethic served me well, but in my journey through life I have discovered that one of the most important works worth doing in on ourselves. By doing that work, we can find peace and joy in life; we can show up as the best version of ourselves and enrich the lives of those around us. As a therapist, my goal is to help my clients overcome the trials, trauma, and turmoil in their lives. Therapy can be hard work, but the prize found in this journey is worth it. I am dedicated to listening and understanding my clients and working with them as a therapeutic team to help them in their journey. I have worked with individuals and couples struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic, ADHD, substance use problems, and a variety of other challenges. In my work I have observed that there is always hope. While there are no magic solutions, consistent effort combined with a willingness to try makes a difference in overcoming the challenges of life. I have been married to the love of my life for 40 years. I am a military veteran, a father and grandfather. I am committed to helping each of my clients achieve their mental health goals.
