Psychotherapist

It is easy to feel lost, anxious, and on the outside of life--especially when you are dealing with trauma, chronic health problems, or neurodiversity. Both my personal and professional experience has helped me to understand how frequently these conditions are linked and can help you learn the skills to process your emotions while living in these turbulent times. By curating an individualized safe space and utilizing an eclectic approach through a variety of evidence backed therapies, I will help you manage the anxiety that comes with living with various and intersectional conditions. We will work together to help you learn to work with your specific needs. These types of therapies include EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, sensory regulation, executive function skills, and other affirming care. I graduated in 2005 with an undergrad in psychology and in 2009 I earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling. I have focused in neurodivergent affirming care and will take the steps necessary to ensure a successful experience. In my spare time, I enjoy a quiet night home either relaxing with my dogs or working on arts and crafts. Philanthropy is important to my time as well, working with organizations like HRC and various disability advocacy groups. You'll also find me training multiple service dog teams in the area.
