Getting to know Lindsey Kelly

I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, or trauma—often rooted in relational or family dynamics. In our initial sessions, we'll begin by gently exploring how these experiences are stored in your body, recognizing that your nervous system holds key insights about your emotional and physiological state. Together, we’ll create a therapeutic plan that prioritizes safety, regulation, and connection, helping you regain a sense of balance and agency.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Through a polyvagal lens, we’ll focus on fostering a felt sense of safety in your body, allowing for gradual shifts in your nervous system. We will untangle what's weighing you down, reconnect with yourself, and create the changes that help you grow, heal, and discover what truly matters so you can live a life that feels more satisfying and grounded. This is your space of self-exploration in a co-created relationship. Having a compassionate witness on your journey is truly what begins the healing process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Showing compassion, acceptance and understanding are very important tools in communicating with you, helping you work through the thoughts and feelings that have brought you here. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into your experiences, and collaborate to create a plan in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first couple of months and sustained improvement thereafter.

Lindsey made me feel truly heard and validated my feelings and emotions right away. She is really easy to talk to because she is a great listener and super relatable. She made it really easy for me to open up, and I felt comfortable telling her things on the first day I met her. She is non judgmental, while at the same time challenges your thoughts and makes you think outside the box about things. Lindsey is a very warm, welcoming, empathetic, and caring person. I would highly recommend her!

Lindsey is so easy to talk to. I feel like she listens to me and gives thoughtful feedback and validation. She asks thought provoking questions and she is so sweet. I’m happy I found her.
Lindsey is an excellent therapist and I have been seeing her for quite some time now. She is great at listening and giving me new ways to think about my situation and give me techniques, handouts and papers to read to further help develop my coping skills when it comes to stressful situations. Overall, she has been a great therapist, very understanding and warm, and has always advocated for the best for me. Thank you so much Lindsey!
I received all the standard pre-paperwork ahead of my first appointment. I had to download two different apps. One for payment and one to conduct the tele health visit. I received confirmation email along with a link to the tele health visit. The day arrived— I clicked in and waited. And waited. The doctor never showed. I attempted contact thru the patient portal to no avail and I called the doctor office contact number- left a message. And no one called me back. I even waited two full days before writing this review to allow space to hear from someone — anyone?! Nope. No one followed up.
