I am a licensed therapist with Meru Health. In just 12 weeks, the duration of our program, you will build skills to reduce stress, alleviate anxiety, and better manage uncomfortable emotions. I am an interactive therapist specializing in helping my clients work within their environment to discover new thoughts, behaviors, and opportunities leading to a healthier and happier life. I have extensive experience working with anxiety and depressive disorders. I am also an Intuitive Eating Counselor, helping my clients discover the connection between mind, body, and food. I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Georgia State University and my Master's in Social Work from Fordham University. I have significant experience working in substance abuse treatment and began my career with Cornerstone Medical Arts Center Hospital as a social work intern, concluding my time there after 13 years as Vice President of Out-Patient Services. Additionally, I taught graduate-level social work courses in substance abuse and mental health at Adelphi University, where I was also a faculty advisor for several years. In my free time, you can find me with my children and dog, playing pickleball, taking walks, and reading.
