Coming to therapy is a choice of courage, and I understand that courage does not operate without some fear. I am so grateful you have chosen this space. I have worked in the mental and emotional health field for over 20 years, specializing in supporting individuals who experience hardships such as abuse (sexual, spiritual, racism-related), life adjustments and changes, relationship problems (mother/daughter, siblings, friendships, romantic), codependency, and symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I focus on working with youth and women dealing with trauma, emotional issues, and post-traumatic growth. I hold a Master?s degree in Human Development from Bradley University and a Doctor of Public Health from Capella University, which enrich my understanding and approach to healing. My therapeutic style is welcoming and interactive. I believe everyone has strengths and deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach includes cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, trauma-informed therapy, and person-centered counseling. I see my clients as the experts in their lives and leaders in their recovery. I assist and guide you through a reflective process to explore how the past may be impacting your present life, relationships, and healing. Together, we will tailor our work to meet your individual needs and support your forward movement at a pace that allows you to show up each day as your best and truest self. My focus is to inspire you to discover and honor your authentic voice?one that may have been lost or misplaced through life?s traumas and circumstances?and to empower you to trust your vision and use your power to heal your inner child and reclaim life on your terms. It takes courage to seek change and take steps toward a life of fulfillment and joy. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support you on this journey as your counselor. I look forward to working with you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
