Psychotherapist
GA
I'm passionate about helping others find healing and wholeness. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, find healing from the past, and live a rich and meaningful life. I work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and poor self-confidence. I have specialized experience treating trauma and substance abuse, and as a Certified DBT Therapist, I specialize in treating Borderline Personality. I utilize DBT, ACT, attachment, and Cognitive Processing Therapy as my modalities. I believe that one of the most underrated experiences is loss, including the end of significant relationships. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Georgia, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm an active therapist and tend towards a more direct approach- I try to be real with you and welcome you being real with me. Sessions involve a combination of processing events, thoughts and feelings, developing new and better views of yourself and the world, and experiential skills to help you navigate life more effectively.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I get how scary and lonely life can seem and would be honored to help you on your healing journey. I look forward to hearing from you! "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself as I am, then I can change." -Carl Rogers
