I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing from a solution-focused and person-centered approach with tactics taken from diverse fields such as Cognitive-Behavioral and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I practice from a collaborative posture, emphasizing that you, the client, are the expert on your life. I create a space where we have good conversations through which we explore new perspectives on your past and present and develop novel solutions to the problems you are facing. I am especially excited to work with people who are navigating religious and spiritual traumas, whether abuses they have experienced or the distress of deconstruction. Regardless of what your presenting problem is, I commit to welcoming you into therapy with warmth, grace, and hospitality.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

With me, you will find a warm and safe conversational partner where you will be empowered to ask the questions you have not yet asked and say the things you have not yet been able to say. We will set goals together and collaborate to identify the changes you will see that tell you that you are making progress towards these goals. All sessions begin the same, with a question to you: "what is important for you today?" I will also have my own curiosities, that at times will challenge you to try out new ways of seeing your story and new ways to go forward with who you are becoming.
