Getting to know Lynnette Craig

Hello, I'm Lynnette. It's wonderful that you are taking the first step because it is one of the hardest parts toward making positive change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor II. I graduated from Colorado Christian University with a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2008. Over the years, I've worked in a variety of counseling roles, including private practice, with court-referred victims, in residential settings, and in recovery inpatient settings. I now very much enjoy and see great benefits in virtual counseling. I am honored to walk alongside clients when they are navigating life's journeys. The clients I have worked with have experienced a wide range of concerns, including coping with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, self-esteem issues, purpose and fulfillment challenges, adjustments and changes, grief and loss, past and recent or current trauma, marriage, family, parenting, and relationship dynamics, dependency and addiction issues, employment challenges, and homelessness. My style of counseling is very client-centered. I want to meet you where you are and foster a warm and safe place to process and navigate through past and present difficulties and experiences. I am very compassionate and empathetic, and I believe everyone is made uniquely and deserves respect and understanding. Therefore, I draw from a variety of counseling theories and techniques that best fit your individual needs, desires, and goals. I commonly gravitate toward family systems, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, strengths-based, motivational interviewing, narrative, existential, psychodynamic, and more therapy modalities to help us work together toward solutions. Life can catch up with us or become challenging at various seasons, and having someone present to walk alongside us is helpful. As you are ready, I am passionate about helping people heal and find hope toward the changes you desire to live life to the fullest.
