Are you struggling with shame, vulnerability, and the feeling of ‘never being good enough’? Do you feel disengaged from life, your loved ones, and sick of watching moments pass you by? Have you spent all your time making sure you never fall and as a result never learned how to get back up? Maybe you’re known as “the perfectionist,” “the cynic,” “the know-it-all,” or “the control freak.” You care too much – it’s kind of your thing… but it’s become exhausting and you’ve had enough. Now’s the time – let’s work together to clear the fog and get you back to the quality of life you deserve! With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan and over a decade of experience in the mental health field, Madison has had the opportunity to work with individuals coping with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and family conflict. She takes an eclectic approach and uses a variety of modalities to empower her clients with the tools they need to build a stronger sense of emotional wellbeing. Madison has specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety and insomnia (TEAM-CBT Certified, Level 1), The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Brainspotting, Polyvagal Modalities, and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). She often utilizes the work of researcher Brené Brown to help clients process and work through their chronic perfectionism and shame, allowing them to become more vulnerable and open to positive life experiences. She’s practical, results-oriented, and passionate about what she does. Madison offers a compassionate, non-judgmental experience with a focus on helping her clients find balance and confidence in their ability to tackle life’s hurdles! A bit about me… Being able to bear witness to the beautiful complexity of the human experience is pretty incredible and humbling. I am constantly learning from my clients and finding new ways to connect.
