Getting to know Manqing He
My name is Manqing 'Eve' He, a multilingual counselor who grew up in China, lived shortly in Malaysia, and is now based in NYC and California. Clinically, I have 8 years of experiences in psychological assessment and psychotherapy, especially with sexual violence, complex trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, and identity issues. As a counselor who have immersed herself in both the Eastern culture and the Western world, my practice focuses on adapting different school of therapy approaches with an emphasis on understanding each individual's complexity in the context of culture, identities, race, and communities.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept any insurance.
If you have an out-of-network plan and have met your deductible, it is likely that our session could be covered in part or in full by your health insurance once your deductible is met. I am happy to provide you with documents needed that you can send to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance to verify your out-of-network coverage if needed.

Manqing is not only very easy and comforting to talk to, but is knowledgeable and has different approaches and suggestions than other professionals I've seen. If you are looking for a refreshing and dedicated therapist, id def recommend her.
