“The past year and a half of therapy with Margaret has very much changed my life. I have grown more than I thought possible and learned more than I was ever willing to before. She has helped me to achieve my personal mental health goals and continues to help me change my perspective on life in general. Her positivity radiates through the screen with her warm smile and friendly greeting. Every week her first question is "What's been going well?" This has helped me to look for the silver lining in every situation!! I would highly recommend her to family and friends! Or anyone for that matter. ”

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Know that you will only be accepted as a client when I believe there is a good opportunity for help, recovery and/or transformation. During our initial session we will spend some time identifying all of the concerns you bring to our initial session. I will, gather the history behind the presenting problem. After the initial session or two, I will draw up a Life Improvement Plan which will outline the general areas we discussed, the problem areas that most need to be addressed. Then, together we will then determine the outcomes you desire in what areas of your life and we will arrive at a solution(s) that works for you in one or most areas of your life so that you become a better version of yourself. After working together for a period of time, we will determine the effectiveness of our approach(s) and decide what is need for future success. After successful resolution/transformation, I will then recommend ongoing periodic evaluations and management of your stressors so you may maintain a happy and successful life. This may be as frequent as once per week or as few as once a year. We will together to determine the best schedule of care for you.

Working with Margaret was nothing short of a God sent! Through Faithful Counseling she was immediately there when I needed it most. In working with a different therapist and company all together, and feeling like I was getting nowhere, Margaret showed up and put her knowledge to the test. Having her there and responding to my messages that I would send her made it more personal and we bonded better than any other therapist I worked with. She has tools that are amazing to help you when you are stuck on bad patterns. And if and when I need therapy again, she will be the therapist I will search for to help me. I recommend Margaret Dunn to be that person you need for healing!
