She ensures that you heard hard and gives great direction for one to be able to navigate through what they are dealing with! Markisha works along with you without judgement or bias! Being her client has had the most impact on me than I’ve ever experienced! To be able to heal and see myself without fault is a feeling I’ve longed for! Although there is much work to be done I'm encouraged and assured that I will reach my goals! So know that you won’t regret having her as your therapist! ”

Getting to know Markisha Davis

Maybe you have spent years being the strong one—carrying the weight of your experiences while longing to feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Perhaps you are ready for something to change but are unsure where to begin. As a Marriage & Family Therapist (LP), I offer a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you can come as you are. I believe your story matters, your voice matters, and your past does not have to define your future. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity, and self-worth. Together, we will explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you while uncovering the strength and resilience within you. You do not have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we can work toward healing, growth, and hope—and help you create a future shaped by possibility, not defined by your past.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy is a place where honesty and compassion go hand in hand. Healing often requires facing difficult emotions and experiences, and I won't shy away from those conversations. Instead, I'll meet you with empathy, respect, curiosity, and without judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to be your authentic self, find your voice, and explore your experiences openly. Together, we'll work to deepen your self-understanding, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.
