Welcome! Let me tell you a little about myself. I have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Murray State University in Murray, KY. I have been a licensed professional counselor (LPC) for the state of Texas since 2012. I am a native Texan who has lived in different states for educational and employment purposes. I enjoy learning from my clients as much as I enjoy providing them with vital mental health information. I provide telehealth sessions on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am an eclectic therapist. That just means I use a variety of techniques and approaches for my clients. My foundation is in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I use Motivational Interviewing, Strengths Based, and Brief Solution Focused therapies. I am an avid practitioner of positive psychology with a bit of realism thrown in.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients can expect to feel heard, understood, and ultimately feel compassion from me as their therapist. I provide a safe space for clients to share their stories in a non-judgmental environment which allows clients to explore their feelings honestly. Clients can expect to defy their past and define their own future!
