“I’ve been meeting with Matt for about 6 months. His personal warmth and thoughtful attention was immediately comforting. As a queer Latino, it was important that I feel comfortable to share and explore my queer identity, my culture, and how both impact each other. Matt has been a great listener that is able to provide meaningful connections between various conversations and provides gentle guidance to help me embrace all my identities and encourage me to step into my fullness.”

I have been seeing Matthew Tratner, LCSW, for about a year, and I can honestly say that working with him has helped me tremendously. He is thoughtful, attentive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping his clients make meaningful progress. What I appreciate most about Matthew is that he creates a space that feels both safe and productive. He listens carefully, remembers the details, and helps me look at difficult situations with more clarity and perspective. His approach is supportive without being passive—he helps me feel understood, but also gently challenges me when I need it. Over the past year, Matthew has been consistent, professional, insightful, and deeply human in his work. I am very grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and caring therapist.
Working with Matt has been a great experience. He's attentive, insightful, and challenges me in ways that help me grow. Thank you!
Matt is easy to talk to and creates a comfortable, judgment free environment. I've learned a lot about myself through our work together.
Matt is a wonderful therapist. He's inquisitive and thoughtful. His grounding calm presence has made feel safe during our conversations and in turn allowed me to open up to authenticity I struggled to access before I met him.
Matt has helped me navigate some pretty big changes in my life, both personal and related to my relationships with others. He helped me embrace parts of myself that I’ve kept buried for decades and gave me guidance and the skills to grow in areas I wanted to strengthen. Matt is personable without losing professionalism, supportive without being pandering, and humorous without being trite. I was able to open up to him, which let me open up to myself and the people that I care about in life. I am clearer headed about who I am, who I strive to be, and how to be the best person I can be for myself and my partners. While I wish I had started work with him sooner, I am grateful that the universe guided me to him when I needed it the most.
I had a truly transformative experience. He’s an empathetic listener, provided real tools during a tough time, and I left each session feeling understood and empowered. I highly recommend him!
I’ve been working with Matt for around 9 months now and I’ve made tremendous progress with him. His approach is thoughtful and he has a genuine interest in my growth and success, which has helped us build a strong relationship and sense of trust. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for therapy!
Dr. Matt has helped me build confidence and healthier coping skills. Greatly appreciated it! The office staff from the beginning has been great to respond, and I love the office!
