Maurice Honeycutt, MFT

Psychotherapist
UT
Hello & Welcome! I'm Dr. Jack Honeycutt, a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (Utah & Idaho) and holistic practitioner trained in clinical neurostimulation. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Union University. I practiced as a clinical psychologist in Australia and have over 25 years in mental health. I completed internships at Tucson Veterans Affairs Medical Center and University of Arizona Health Sciences Medical Center. I am the inventor of COOLSTIM® and AcuStim. My approach Many seek therapy to relieve STRESS symptoms like anxiety, depression, OCD, ADD, panic, addiction, sexual issues, insomnia, relationship stress, and breakups. STRESS drains energy and optimism, erodes self-confidence, and makes us feel sick, injured, or alien to ourselves and others. People often say, “Oh, it’s just stress,” which underestimates its impact. STRESS is a medically recognized cause and accelerator of many serious diseases—from rheumatoid diseases (arthritis, lupus) to heart disease, cancer, depression, addiction, and aging-related illnesses. STRESS triggers inflammation, which can cause, intensify, and prolong many diseases, from psychological syndromes and brain disorders to heart disease and cancer. Mind-body medicine begins by identifying the source of stress symptoms, which may stem from medical or nutritional conditions. For example, we assess biomarkers of inflammation (since stress causes and can be caused by inflammation). Vitamin levels may affect neurotransmitters linked to depression. As a holistic practitioner, I specialize in STRESS recovery using proven mind-body therapies to stimulate your body’s natural healing without drugs. Legal system stress: I also assist those involved in legal proceedings, disputes, or courtroom trials, including victims and witnesses.
