Getting to know Megan Daybell

I offer a place of non-judgment and support where you can take a step back to examine yourself, learn about your strengths, and work towards making empowered decisions. My treatment approach emphasizes the capacity each person has within themselves to find meaning in their experience and validation in their resiliency. With a Master's in Social Work from Boise State University and fifteen years of clinical experience, I bring in-depth knowledge of effective treatment strategies to help you find your personal wellness. Using a strengths-based approach, I specialize in helping you understand the way your brain processes, which, in turn, allows you to find peace with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I draw from a trauma-informed lens and apply therapeutic techniques from IFS, CBT, and EMDR. Most importantly, I seek to bring kindness and curiosity to every session. I believe in the power of human resiliency and am honored to witness each person's journey to understanding and acceptance. All are welcome, and all are valued. To aid in accessibility, I offer both in-person and remote therapy, with openings available on weekends. I look forward to hearing from you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe every person is the expert in their lives, but we all need an opportunity to examine our experiences, relationships, and goals to find our potential. I bring a strengths-based and individualistic lens to each client session, and incorporate modalities from Internal Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR into my practice.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with adults and young adults who may be struggling to understand their ADHD brain, and the often co-occuring disorders of anxiety and depression. During our sessions, we will work to zoom out and try to understand the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan to help you feel more confident and learn to trust yourself. Additionally, I offer services for those with partners or children with ADHD, so you too can feel supported and understood in your role. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in creating safety and trust. To aide in confirming the services I provide are a good fit, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation before scheduling an Intake Appointment. During our first session, we will complete an intake assessment, and identify your therapeutic goals. Following sessions will be client led, meaning, we talk about what you want to talk about, and work to meet your goals. I can provide clients with a superbill to submit for my out-of-network clients to help with reimbursement, and all HSA and FSA Cards are accepted. My goal is to provide financial options to make therapy more accessible. For more information, please schedule a free consultation.
