I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas. Our practice has 8 therapists and offers counseling services to children, teens, and adults, with flexible day, evening, and weekend hours to meet your needs. Esther is amazing to work with. I was part of the 2 session max club and Esther easily broke that trend for me. I have been seeing her for about 9 months and have tackled so many internal and external struggles. My mindset has shifted and I’m better able to handle challenges that would stress me out so easily prior. Esther is very knowledgeable and offers different perspectives and tools to work through problems. She has truly made a difference in my life and highly recommend her from the Terrell office.

Missy Terrell referred me to Esther Jung, who is an excellent mental health counselor. Esther really listens to what you are saying in a session, and she is great at helping you process your past traumas in a positive way. I was especially happy to find Esther because I was looking for a Christian counselor. On a practical note, when I first communicated with them through Zoodoc, they got back to me the same day, and they set up everything with my insurance. I’m usually reluctant to write reviews, but I can give Esther Jung my top recommendation.

I have been meeting with Missy for a while and she is a thoughtful counselor who is caring and listens well. She has helped me think deeper and with greater clarity about the topics we discuss in counseling. She dives into family systems counseling and I have experienced greater balance and mental health. I recommend having a consultation meeting and see if she is a good fit for you.

I have been meeting Ariel Ramirez at Missy Terrell Counseling for just over a year. When I first came to her, I was under a lot of pressure at work, at home and in my social circle. I was constantly struggling to handle my responsibilities and frequently shut down. Ariel took the time to get to know me and my history. We worked through the hard stuff together and she provided tools for me to help myself outside of sessions. It felt so good to be understood and also get solutions to my problems. It’s not all serious either. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so at ease to laugh wholeheartedly in therapy. I look forward to my sessions because each time I leave with clarity on what to do next. I can see improvements in all aspects of my life and I am excited to continue this journey with Ariel. Highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Missy Terrell for personal counseling for 6 years, and I cannot put into words what an impact her, her wisdom, guidance, and patience has been to me. She is a well of deep empathy, thoughtful wisdom, yet she has often helped me see beyond my current circumstances. Despite having gone through some pretty massive challenges, it has been a joy and relief to have someone like Missy to journey with. Her skill with EMDR, IFS is wonderful and I also love that she offers to pray with me at the end of every session (and I am sure she will do so only if a client is comfortable). I have seen myself grow so much in the last 6 years, and I can attribute a large part of this growth to her help and guidance. She has been a great blessing to me and I cannot recommend her enough.
