Getting to know Michael Reynolds

I approach every client with the same respect, compassion, and sensitivity that I would hope to receive myself. My work is grounded in an eclectic therapeutic style, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities so treatment can be tailored to each person’s unique needs and lived experiences. I recognize that reaching out for support takes courage, especially when someone is searching for a more fulfilling and balanced way of living. My role is to walk alongside clients as they explore their strengths, gain clarity, and build the tools they need to feel empowered in their own journey. I am committed to creating a space where people feel understood, supported, and capable of meaningful change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that my work is rooted in a person-centered approach. I aim to create a space where individuals can explore their experiences openly while discovering their strengths and full potential. With over nine years of counseling experience, I have supported clients facing depression, anxiety, family conflict, ADHD, anger, emotional abuse, and trauma. I lead with compassion and believe in treating people with the same respect and sensitivity I would hope to receive. My therapeutic style is eclectic, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities so that treatment can be tailored to the unique needs of each client. I understand the courage it takes to seek support and the desire to build a more balanced, meaningful life. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they find clarity, gain confidence, and empower themselves in their healing journey. I genuinely care for the people I meet and look forward to supporting each person who steps into this work.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and empathy. I begin by creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. During our early sessions, I take time to learn about your concerns, strengths, history, and goals so we can build a shared understanding of what you want to work toward. From there, we collaborate on a plan that fits your pace and your needs. I integrate a range of therapeutic approaches—always tailored to the individual—to help you develop insight, build coping skills, and make meaningful changes in your daily life. Throughout our work together, I provide consistent support, honest reflection, and a nonjudgmental environment where growth can take place. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, grounded, and equipped to move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life
