TX
Hello, I'm Min. With over thirteen years of experience in the mental health field, I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges. I earned my Master's degree in 2009 and my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015 from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. My journey in mental health has taken me through various settings, from inpatient mental health services to outpatient facilities, where I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including active duty members and veterans. In my practice, I integrate play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and couples' counseling to create a tailored approach for each client. I believe in the power of a collaborative therapeutic relationship and strive to provide a safe, supportive space for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Whether you're dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or navigating a significant life transition, I'm here to help. I specialize in addiction, ADHD, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, family relationships, intimate/romantic relationships, life transitions, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, stress, trauma, and grief/bereavement. My certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor and completion of the SonderMind Baseline Veteran Education Program further equip me to support you on your journey to well-being. Outside of my professional life, I value the importance of balance and self-care, and I encourage my clients to find their own paths to wellness. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's work together to create the change you seek.
