You may find yourself replaying conversations long after they happen, feeling emotionally drained by work or relationships, or noticing anxiety showing up in your body through racing thoughts, tension, nausea, or difficulty relaxing. Some people come to therapy trying to understand patterns in their relationships, while couples may be navigating communication challenges, feeling misunderstood, repeating the same arguments, rebuilding trust, or feeling more like roommates than partners. I work with children, teens, and adults, as well as couples and families, and tailor each session to each person’s unique needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Together we create space to explore your emotions and understand patterns in your thoughts and relationships. I integrate DBT, ACT, relational and trauma-informed approaches to support deeper insight, emotional regulation, and lasting change. As a first generation therapist with a multicultural background, and as a Middle Eastern American Jewish woman, I bring cultural humility and lived insight into how identity, history, and environment shape the way we understand ourselves and relate to others in the present day. I hold a B.S. in Psychology—the study of death, dying, and bereavement; and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College.
