Are you feeling down, hopeless, anxious, or struggling with low self-esteem? Are you a parent facing challenges with your child's behavior? If so, I'm the therapist for you. As a daughter, wife, and mother, I've navigated many of these same obstacles in life. You don't have to face them alone. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, which equips me to support you with empathy and professional expertise. What should a new client know about working with you?
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to learn more about what you're looking for in a therapist and to determine if we might be a good fit to work together. If we decide to move forward with therapy, we will schedule your first session at a time that works for you. During your first session we'll work together to identify experiences from the past and present that effect your daily living. Next, we'll unify to develop a plan that meets your individual needs. I offer flexible office hours in a HIPPA compliant virtual format. I'm a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor and I'm also licensed in the District of Columbia.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with ADHD, depression, anxiety, behavior issues, family conflict and life transitions (e.g., school, career, life after divorce). I use a variety of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Strength-Based Therapy.
