Hello, my name is Nicholas Kolos. I am a licensed mental health counselor and a licensed marriage and family therapist. I earned my Master's in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. I love my profession and look forward to helping my clients achieve their individual goals. I get excited when I see clients with unrealized potential and then help them become the best version of themselves! I enjoy helping those who are struggling in their personal or work relationships learn how to better communicate their needs and improve the quality of those relationships. I tailor my treatment plans to best help each individual case achieve success!
What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients will learn how to better handle distressing thoughts and learn how to cope more effectively when working with me. I help clients change maladaptive core belief systems into more effective belief systems and I also offer practical coaching in specific life challenging situations!

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I haven't had a therapist for over 15 years and then comes Nikolas. He's be awesome since the very first session. He listens to listen and not just give an answer. He's genuine, friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. He's given me "homework" that actually helped a LOT more than I would have ever expected.
