Getting to know Nicole Johnson

Hi my name is Nicole Johnson I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who provides individual, family, and couple therapy. I work with families , adolescents, and adults. I truly embrace my role working with couples and enjoy helping couples grow individually and together. I also provide divorce counseling, co-parenting counseling, and family therapy. I also provides treatment for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, women’s issues, substance use disorders, trauma, domestic violence, and grief.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use an evidence-based approach such as the Gottman Method for her work with couples, and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques with an integrated mindfulness, humanistic, and client-centered style for her work with individuals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer excellent training, insight, warmth and honesty. I am a Licensed and certified with the Board of Behavioral Sciences I received my BA degree from the University of Arizona in communications and earned my MA degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I believe in psychotherapy personalized to meet the needs of each unique individual. The focus of treatment is the clinical relationship between us and our ability to foster positive change for you.
