A strong therapeutic relationship is at the core of meaningful change. I believe healing happens when there is a genuine, collaborative connection where you feel seen, understood, and supported. Our work together is a shared process. As you begin to understand yourself more deeply, I take the time to understand your experiences, relationships, and the patterns that have shaped your life. Through this mutual exploration, we build the foundation for insight, emotional awareness, and lasting growth. Each person carries an inherent capacity for resilience and self-understanding. At times, this may feel distant or difficult to access, especially when navigating complex emotions or past experiences. My goal is to help you reconnect with that inner strength, exploring both past and present experiences while developing greater self-awareness and self-compassion. Over time, this allows you to move toward a more authentic, grounded, and empowered version of yourself. My approach is relational and psychodynamic, while also integrating evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I believe mental health is shaped by both our internal world and our relationships with others. With this perspective, I support individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and cultural or identity-related experiences. Together, we will work toward deepening insight, strengthening emotional resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting change. I am committed to providing a safe, collaborative, and supportive space where your unique experiences are honored, and where growth can unfold in a way that feels authentic to you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Starting therapy can feel uncertain, but it is often the beginning of a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. My approach is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in both insight-oriented and evidence-based care. We begin with an intake session, where we explore what has brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from this process. This leads into a psychosocial assessment, where we take a broader look at your life experiences, relationships, and patterns over time. This helps us understand how your past and present are connected and how they may be shaping your current emotional experience. From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your goals. This may include working through anxiety or depression, navigating relationship challenges, processing past experiences, or building greater emotional awareness and self-understanding. In ongoing sessions, we integrate relational and psychodynamic exploration with practical tools from CBT and DBT to support both insight and real-life change. This allows us to not only understand patterns, but also develop healthier ways of responding to them. My goal is to help you build deeper self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop the tools needed to navigate life with greater clarity, authenticity, and confidence.
